Ms. Chaudry Dastgir, a Connecticut native and a Pakistani-American, previously practiced civil litigation in products liability, commercial law, and insurance defense at a private law firm in New York and worked in contract and real estate law for a private firm in Maryland. Ms. Chaudry Dastgir appeared at numerous court hearings and conducted numerous depositions in her previous New York position.

Ms. Chaudry Dastgir is admitted to practice law in Connecticut (2006), New York (2007), and the District of Columbia (2008), and she earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2006. At the University of Connecticut, she graduated with a B.A. degree, cum laude, with a major in financial economics and double minor in English and microbiology.
