In 2005, Ms. Rainey brought her extensive trial and courtroom experience to Gebhardt & Associates, LLP, after over 30 jury trials and nine years with the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the District of Columbia. She also had previous legal experience as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice and as a staff attorney with the National Veterans Legal Services Project. Ms. Rainey's litigation of sexual harassment and sex, race, disability, and age discrimination cases reflects her passionate commitment to fighting unfair treatment and exploitation in the workplace. A graduate of the University of Arkansas Law School, Ms. Rainey utilizes her wide range of experience in civil and criminal law to strategically resolve employee claims and to support the Firm's class actions and multi-party cases.
